What color is the pool water: If the pool water is clear: add 1 bottle of pool magic per 25,000 gallons then, add 1 gallon per 5,000 gallons of liquid chlorine and add your pool algaecide accordingly to the bottle. If the pool water is light green: and has a bit of visible algae go ahead and add 1 bottle of pool magic per 25,000 gallons. Then double the amount of chlorine (a 10,000-gallon pool you would normally add 2 gallons, go with 4 gallons.) After, add the algaecide, add the amount recommended for visible algae. If you cannot see the bottom give us a call and we can give you a recommendation on what you should do.
